Pathophysiology: Understanding the underlying mechanisms and physiological changes that occur during an anaphylactic reaction.

Risk assessment and prevention: Learning how to assess the risk of anaphylaxis in patients, including identifying potential triggers and taking preventive measures to minimize the risk.

Emergency management: This includes knowing how to respond to anaphylactic emergencies, including the ABCDE approach (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability, Exposure), administering appropriate first-line treatment (e.g., adrenaline auto-injectors), and calling for emergency medical assistance.

Recognition and management of mild to moderate allergic reactions: Understanding the signs and symptoms of less severe allergic reactions and knowing when and how to intervene to prevent progression to anaphylaxis.
