This online training course covers a wide range of topics relating to infection, prevention & control within the healthcare industry, such as clinical waste, MRSA and hand washing.
  • Clinical Waste Management:
    • Proper disposal methods for clinical waste.
    • Understanding regulations and guidelines for handling hazardous materials.
  • MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus):
    • Identification and awareness of MRSA infections.
    • Strategies for prevention and management.
  • Hand Washing Protocols:
    • Importance of hand hygiene in healthcare settings.
    • Techniques for effective hand washing and the use of hand sanitizers.

The course will take approximately two hours to complete, and at the end of the training there are a number of multiple choice questions based on the course content, which must be answered correctly to pass the course.
